Federal Way High School

Partnering on another high school project with Spee West Construction, Federal Way High School was a two-phased, rebuild of the existing high school that shared the same site. With 236,000 square feet of new construction, it will greatly improve the capacity of the original school. The work on the project was completed out over a 3-year period from 2015 through 2018 all while the existing school operated adjacent to the construction site. The school will house all facilities under one roof, creating both an efficient and safer environment for students and staff. With a final subcontract value of over $3 million dollars, GK Knutson worked over 36,000 hours on the project and installed all the metal framing and drywall. We are excited for the Federal Way School District to be able to better serve their high school students!
