NAS Whidbey Hangar 10

P-239 EA-18G Facility Improvements was the official name of the project on Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island. GK Knutson, working under Korte Construction, self-performed all the metal framing, insulation, GWB installation & finishing, as well as the acoustical ceilings on the project. Hangar 10 was multi-phased and consisted of a partial remodel of the existing four plane hangar and two-story offices as well as an addition of an adjacent two plane hangar and roughly 50 additional office/rooms. With a final contract value of $1.25 million and over 10,000 hours worked on the project, GK Knutson was proud to turn over a facility to our troops that will help them better train and prepare for what may lie ahead!
